The Franklin Academy Patriots JV volleyball team defeated East Wakes Eagles on Friday. It was a back and forth game of three sets. The Patriots pulled off the first after a poor start. They could not get rolling in the second and suffered defeat. In the third deciding set they came out on top defeating the Eagles. There was excellent play by captains Reagan and Maggie Fry as well as Jenna Hill. They advance to take on Franklinton Wednesday.
