The Franklin Academy JV volleyball team (2-3) picked up their second win of the season against local rival Franklinton (1-6) on Thursday, August 31. The Patriots won an intense, back and forth first set 28-26, twice fending off set point opportunities for Franklinton. The second set was much of the same, with a tight battle for most of the set. However, the Patriots were able to pull away and take the set 25-19 and the match 2-0.
