9/8 Men’s Varsity Soccer Game vs. Woods Charter Wolves

On Friday, September 8th, the Patriots Varsity Men’s Soccer Team encountered the Woods Charter Wolves in an exciting non-conference matchup. The Patriots were undefeated (6-0) going into this game with 40 goals for and 2 goals against, and the Wolves were 2-3. The Wolves’ goalie played very well throughout the game, racking up 16 total saves, but wasn’t able to hold off the Patriots’ brutal attack and allowed a total of 6 goals. The largest contributor on the attack was Zach Hanson, who picked up a hat trick and an assist over the course of the game. Jaxon Moseley and Daniel Magen also added their own scoring contributions (Jaxon had two goals and Daniel had one). The Wolves could not convert on their only scoring opportunity,

sending a penalty kick into the crossbar. The Patriots took the win 6-0, preserving their undefeated record (7-0) and improving their rank to 40th in the state (all divisions). The Wolves drop to 2-4.
