What a night! Thanks for coming out to support the team and honor our wonderful SENIORS!
Boys' race was super close, so I expect our conference championship meet to be very exciting and come down to who has the best day. Seniors Justin Martin and Matthew Pertz raced well in their final home meet, finishing in first and fourth place overall.
Raleigh Charter came in first with 39 points
Woods came in second with 40 points
Franklin Academy came in third with 43 points
and River Mill didn't have enough runners for a score.
Girls' race was a bit more spread out. (GREAT job running together today, it made the difference!) Hannah Zenker won the girls' race by nearly 2 minutes with the rest of the scoring runners finishing in an impressive pack.
Franklin Academy was first with 27 points
Raleigh Charter placed 2nd with 42 points
Woods came in third with 103 and River Mill didn't have enough runners for a score.
