Our doubles team of Bonnie Morgan and Christina Shymonyak were a late entry into the East Regional Tennis Tournament. The Voyager team could not participate, so the conference coaches elected them to fill in. They deserved to be there. They won their first round match, a 3 setter, over the Tar Roanoke champs. They lost the next though to the eventual tournament champions. Great playing!
